It took me three weeks and countless hours to finish it but I did it at last. Huge credit goes to the amazing Sophie (Specialisyou) for giving me the motivation to go through with it. Without her I would have given it up already. Thank you, hun! <3
This was - hand on my heart - the hardest and most challenging video I’ve ever made (privately AND at work). Not only the manipulations but also the audio design was a pain in the arse. Most of the Merlin clips were not clean (means there’s this huge epic orchestral music over the clips) so I had to mute the original sound and “fake” all of the sound effects like steps or nature sounds or doors opening and closing, horse-noises, dog barking etc etc.
I’m very proud of the result. I mean I still see things that could be improved but I quite like it the way it is.

fake tv-show: Nimueh (the series)
Season 1.
It’s time for a new dawn. A new king arises in the land of Camelot and it-s welcomed with hope and desperation. Nimueh, a young witch, a high skilled priestess of the old the religion, sets her destination on Camelot hoping to help on the future Uther Pendragon promises. Loyalties must be formed, rules will be settled, love will arise, friendships will be born, as the pair, helped by the King’s soon to be Queen, and the inclusion of a very servile and clever physician, start to settle the world back on tracks. In a time where magic is allowed but deeply judged, will they be able to put differences apart and survive past experiences, lies and secrets and complete the mission they have taken upon themselves?
(this is the season where everything begins. Alliances are formed. Wreckage on the kingdom is controlled. Uther’s authority is settled. Igraine becomes Queen. Nimueh struggles with her differences and her affection for the royalty and her position as a High Priestess. This is the season were everything seems hopeful and happy endings seem to be the only thing ahead, while still walking on a fine line of problems and distrust).
1X01. Camelot’s Call. (pilot) … 1X13 Queen of hearts. (season finale).
Season 2.
With an strict King and a warm Queen, everything seems to be settled on Camelot, but new pressures will test everything they so hardly built. Time passes and a heir is in need, the news of barren Queen Igraine will travel faster than wanted. Uther’s authority and ability to keep his reign in control will be put in doubt. Nimueh’s position as High Priestess will arise questions and doubts from both sides. Magic will grow and take a more important part in their lives, loyalties will be judged, decisions will be made, as the series go darker following depression, desperation and distrust in a path that has no way back. Nothing will ever be the same.
(this is the season were limits between bad/good magic are questioned. The season of “how far will you go?”. The season were Uther argues with everyone, and everyone argues with everyone. It’s the season where the Priestess aren’t fooled by what little truth Nimueh tells them. Chaos starts growing under the apparent control it had been hidden. Igraine and Uther grow apart, Gorlois takes a more important role in the Kingdom, Uther and Vivian confide in each other. Nimueh and uther finally make the pact that will bring their own destruction: the day Arthur’s born).
2X01. The beginning of the end. (season premier) … 2X13 The coming of Arthur (season finale).
Season 3.
Cast outside Camelot, Nimueh settles upon herself to stop Uther, who blinded by love and self-loath after the death of Igraine rushes himself on the hunt of magic people, starting terror every where he stands. As both side struggle with their own thoughts and regrets, Camelot suffers. Each episode gets darker and darker as people are badly judged, or not judged at all. Witchfinders arise, and the Kingdom starts to die. Normal people, still weary of magic get behinds door and hope to not get noticed as these two all friends try to kill each other by damaging everybody else but themselves. This is the dusk of Camelot as they knew it, this is the death of everything they promised. As everything dies in the dust, and only a few try to fight for what it’s right, will hope survive?
(this is the season of the great purge. This is the fight between Uther and Nimueh and everyone stuck in between. This is the end of the dragons, of magic, of the old religion. Tristan, Vivian, and many other die. Gaius becomes a nameless hero. This is the season that settles the future of Camelot as we know it.)
